Stranger Things & Sex Education Stars To Lead Cast Of New Horror Movie

Asa Butterfield and Natalia Dyer are set to star in new horror movie All Fun And Games. The film will be co-directed by Scrubs’ Eren Celeboglu and Ari Costa, producer of several of the Russo brothers’ successful MCU movies. Butterfield plays lead Otis on hit sex comedy Sex Education and Dyer has starred in three seasons of Stranger Things as Nancy Wheeler. The movie, described as a high concept horror-thriller, is to be presented to buyers at the European film market next month.

Variety reports that Butterfield and Dyer are set to play the two lead roles in the horror. The plot will follow siblings involved in an immersive demonic game. Further casting is unannounced.  All Fun And Games comes from production company Anton, whose recent successes include Netflix’s thriller Curs>r, which also starred Butterfield.

The casting of the two young talents will help bring in fans of the two iconic shows and market the horror to a young-adult audience. With both stars connected with Netflix, it’s possible the streaming service may snap up the film rights later in the year. For now, though, further details on the conceptual thriller remain under wraps. In the meantime, Dyer is set to return for the highly anticipated Stranger Things season 4, while Butterfield’s recent third outing as Otis has fans of Sex Education eager for more. All Fun And Games enters principal photography in March 2022.
